NEW VERNON
New Jersey

This labyrinth was made together with Marty Kermeen, the world's greatest labyrinth paver artist (and many things besides labyrinths, as well). Marty and his crew laid the pavers (we helped as laborers). Then we cut the turns and decorations into the pavers, using the cut as the boundary for staining the design.

New Vernon is an upscale area near Morristown, New Jersey. This private estate comprised eight acres that backed up to a nature preserve. We were helped in the staining process by relatives and friends of the owner. Most of all, we were thrilled to be working with Marty Kermeen.

Some of the installations are problematic, due to weather or other conditions. Not this one. Everything was great. My only difficulty was finding a quiet place to watch the Tour de France summary every evening. Even that worked out great.

The Labyrinth Enterprises crew was me and my assistant, Judy. Then, for the last few days, we were joined by my wife Ruth, who was assigned to quality control and detailing, at which she is very skilled. See pdf Gallery sheet.

First Judy took a rest. Then she carried every one of these pavers into the labyrinth.
